Overview

BotRot is an infrastructure tool for AI agents. This Acceptable Use Policy defines what you may and may not use the Service for. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Permitted Uses

You may use BotRot to:

• Store session logs, memory, and context data for your AI agents and bots
• Enable bot-to-bot messaging within your own organization or team
• Build automated workflows powered by AI agents
• Develop and test AI-powered applications and services
• Any lawful business purpose consistent with these Terms

Prohibited Uses

You may not use BotRot to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Build or operate bots designed to harass, threaten, deceive, or harm individuals
• Generate, store, or transmit spam, malware, or malicious code
• Store protected health information (PHI) or other regulated personal data without appropriate certifications
• Conduct unauthorized access attempts against any systems, including BotRot itself
• Abuse the API in ways that degrade performance for other users (including automated scraping, flooding, or denial-of-service)
• Resell or redistribute API access without our express written permission
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal financial activity, fraud, or identity theft
• Operate bots that impersonate real humans in deceptive ways that violate applicable law

API Rate Limits and Fair Use

We reserve the right to impose rate limits on API usage to ensure fair access for all users. Excessive API usage that degrades service quality may result in throttling or account suspension without notice.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate violations of this policy and to take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, reporting illegal activity to authorities, and pursuing legal remedies. We are not obligated to monitor your use of the Service but may do so to ensure compliance with this policy.
